LONG RANGE (MON-THU): Little change from yesterday's package...The long range period will begin with the breakdown of the ridge late in the weekend resulting in slight rain chances returning to mainly northern and central AR for your Sunday. As we begin the next week, A new storm system will move from the west with an associated cold front and will once again bring the potential of thunderstorms which a few could be on the strong/severe side. SPC is currently monitoring guidance trends at this time and A risk area could be issued if trends continue to suggest severe weather for the early part of next week. This front will be near/slightly below normal temps to close out the next week for the natural state.
