SUNDAY NIGHT INTO MONDAY MORNING:
Damaging winds: Medium
Large hail: Medium (across far western AR, near border), Low rest of slight risk for areas east of Fort Smith.
Damaging winds: low
Tornadoes: very low (Have opted to stay away from none due to the potential of a line of thunderstorms)
Large hail: Low
REMEMBER: All of this can and possibly WILL change, I will update threats accordingly but if things remain on track, I will not need to. The storms may return to a strengthening trend going into Monday afternoon, but that is still to come. Current indications are that the line of thunderstorms will restrengthen near or east of Pulaski county. For this reason, the Storm Prediction Center has outlined eastern sections of the state with a Slight risk of severe weather. I was planning on holding off until SPC made their day 2 update, but I didn't realize, they already released it. I will show it below!
That will change with time, but that will be a new feature I put into my blogs, not to scare anyone, but to allow people to prepare appropriately for severe thunderstorms. With that said, here is the current risk area highlighted by SPC for Wednesday evening/night.
