This is the remaints of what was Tropical Storm Amanda in the eastern Pacific, she is currently over central America and could emerge back out into the bay of campeche.
This is the latest from the National Hurricane Center... The remnants of Eastern Pacific Tropical Storm Amanda are currently located over northern Guatemala. This system is forecast to move northwestward to northward within a broader area of disturbed weather, and it could emerge over the southeastern Bay of Campeche on Monday. If the remnants move back over water, environmental conditions appear conducive to support some development, and a new tropical depression could form while the system moves little through the middle of this week.

These are the latest forecast guidance tracks for the tropical low over central america at this time. As the system moves northward, somewhat better environmental conditions could lead to some development over the next 5-10 days.
Impacts to AR/United States:
If this low does make it over water and strengthens, it could make a run for Texas/Louisiana during the 8-10 day timeframe which could bring moisture into the natural state which would lead to increased rainfall potential. We are still a week and a half away so stay with us here at AWW for the latest.
