Frost advisories-These are issued when temperatures are forecast to come within freezing point (32 degrees) during the growing season under a clear sky with calm winds.
Freeze Watches- These are issued when temperatures may reach or dip below 32 degrees, warning people that are growing crops and/or plants such as flowers that a freeze is possible and their crops may be damaged.
Freeze Warnings- These are issued when temperatures are expected to reach and/or go below 32 degrees, these warn people that are growing crops and/or plants such as flowers, that a freeze is imminent and will damage unprotected crops.
Remember, these are only issued during the growing season, and days after the growing season that fall near or below 32 degrees will not have any kind of advisory, watch, or warning, in regards to frost or freezes.
