LONG RANGE: The long range period looks interesting for the natural state as a frontal boundary looks to move into the northern parts of the state as we move into late this upcoming week. Little changes from yesterday's forecast package...Have went 30% for north on Wednesday to account for the frontal passage but could be increased to the next forecast package as guidance becomes a clearer on if the front will be strong enough to produce shower/thunderstorm activity. As far as Dorian is concerned, he looks to be a top news maker as he will likely make a landfall as a very powerful hurricane. He could also have a downstream indirect affect on us here in the natural state over the next 6-10 days as it could lead to a frontal boundary to push through next weekend into the following week leading to rain chances returning to the natural state but lots of uncertainty remains with that scenario as of now.
