Long-Range: As we approach the start of the work week, it will very cold across the natural state with daytime highs struggling to make it to 40 degrees across the region. Places in north AR may not make it to freezing on Monday. This air should begin to modify as we approach midweek as the arctic ridge begins to pull to the east and return flow begins to setup over our area. A system may cut through the southern half of the state during the overnight hours on Monday/Tuesday resulting in possibly some light snow if the snow can make it through the significant dry air over us. As a result, have pulled the precip chances from this forecast package. A relatively quiet week is in store for the state.
