Long-Term: This period will be rather interested for us here in the Natural State. As we move into the new work week, the Bermuda ridge is forecast to move to the east. As it move to the east, it will allow Invest 91L (Could be Tropical Storm Michael by then) to move northward towards the north central Gulf. On top of that, what is now Hurricane Sergio in the pacific will move towards the southwest. As these two systems move into the Mainland US....It will disrupt the pattern and force a front to sweep through our area midweek. With the added instability and tropical moisture, severe weather can not be discounted. As this front pushes through, MUCH cooler/drier air will move into the natural state and bring much awaited relief to the natural state.
