LONG RANGE (Day 3-7): The long range period will feature the high pressure to our east sending in some return flow out ahead of our next cold front/storm system. Temperatures will fall into the 30s and 40s behind this front as it swings through on Sunday. Now here comes the interesting part...Guidance was indicating at the potential of winter weather across northern AR on Monday-Monday PM. They have backed off for now but a side of caution is there given today's event was gone for at least a full day before guidance brought back the potential of winter weather. I haven't reflected it off of the forecast as of now and have gone with strictly liquid precip but frozen precip chances could be added if such agreement were to return. Either way, temperatures will fall to near/slightly below normal readings as we draw closer to Christmas weekend.
